Today, Brian Watson and his campaign team publicly declared victory in the race for State Treasurer in the Colorado Republican primary.
“I am so grateful for every single vote, donation, and volunteer who made this possible. I am both humbled and honored to see our message of stewardship, public service, and financial experience resonate so deeply with hundreds of thousands of voters throughout Colorado,” Watson said.
Watson said he was proud of running a 100% positive people-driven campaign focused on the issues.
“Today proves that Colorado is weary of politicians and more of the same. They’re excited about fresh common sense leadership, sustainable solutions for key issues like PERA, and are all in moving into November to put people before politics.”
Watson also credited old-fashioned hard work and daily discipline along the campaign trail as a big reason for the victory.
Watson said he plans to immediately transition to his general election outreach, with a full schedule in the coming days including campaign strategy with his team, meetings with grassroots groups, and a Unity Tour across the state.
